This Generation

As we head to the closure of the calendar year, we can reflect upon times past. We can cast our eyes to the future. Whichever way, the vista is both humbling and emboldening. We give thanks for the progress and accomplishments achieved for 2011:

For the Almighty to have granted us this opportunity to serve Mama Earth and all creation.

The government authorities to have granted their blessings all along the way.  

The practical experience on the land, same of which has brought a sure result.

We enter a new year of HARVEST! A bounty of beans, chicken peas, maize, carrots, followed by soya, groundnuts, pumpkin, then cassava, yam, sugarcane and on without end. A most tangible feedback.

More education, interaction and cooperation with and among the farmers...as is happening steadily and increasingly. 

Further and fruitful collaborations with similarly focused individuals and organizations, recognizing the land as the basic component of life, sustenance and development. 

More youth locally, regionally and internationally utilizing their education and natural abilities towards seeking the common good of all...and conscious of their place and obligations within our ecosystems.

This is a generation rediscovering it's roots. This is the generation which is inheriting the earth and its fullness.
