More volunteers

Another volunteer, Ras Muchina, has just joined the crew in Maragua. He has left the HQ's at Nairobi carrying with him a set of fork jembes which are really needed to remove the couch grass on the land, as well as avocado seeds that we've been gathering rather than discarding them as trash. He's also bringing threads and  other art materials.
Ras Muchina
The bredren has given up the unpleasant city livity, where he's been working as a welder, in order to work for the betterment of the community at Maragua. Ras Muchina hails from the Aberdares ranges, where he grew up but migrated to the urban in search of a better livity. It's at this time that he realized fully the purpose of leaving home for Nairobi - as he confessed it to me - which is 'to find his brothers who would teach him about Rastafari and Marcus Garvey whom he just used to hear about but didn't know much.'
However, though Ras Mucina has left his profession for the farm he is willing to apply his welding skills anywhere needed within the line of work in Shiriki Organization.
More strength Ras!
